PREPARATION FOR THE SYNOD
This week we will look in more detail at the Consultative Preparation for our Diocesan Synod:   A thorough study of the Church’s teaching of the lay state will better inform us for consultation.  This is our second level of preparation.  The Bishop wants to know what you are thinking.  So once you have discovered more about the lay faithful, please share your reflections.

THE BEGINNING EXPERIENCE
The Beginning Experience is a specially designed programme which seeks to help separated, divorced and widowed persons to make a new beginning in life. are
holding a residential weekend for those who find themselves alone again through divorce, separation or widowhood.  The weekend will take place from 9th-11th October at the Conforti Centre,

PUBLIC LECTURE
The Centre for Social and Environmental Justice is holding a Public Lecture by Fr Greg Boyle SJ, This will take place in St Aloysius College hall, 45 Hill Street, Glasgow on Tuesday 8th September at 7 pm.  Admission Free.
 
VOCATIONS MASS
The Diocesan Vocations Mass will be held in St Mirin’s Cathedral, Paisley on 14th September at 7 pm.
