MARY’S MEALS
The UK Government has agreed to match fund donations made to Mary’s Meals from 28th September until 28th December 2015.   This means that a donation made during this period will be doubled.  So if you wish to support Mary’s Meals financially, from now until 28th December is a very good time to do it!

CHRISTMAS FAYRE
The date for the Christmas Fayre is Sunday 15th November .    It is that time of year again when we really need your help for our Christmas Fayre on Sunday 15th November at 12 noon. This year we need donations for Tombola, Bottle Stall, Home Baking, Groceries (not out of date), Toys (complete, not damaged), Books and DVDs (no videos). Unfortunately, we cannot accept electrical items or damaged goods that cannot be sold and please NO BRIC-A-BRAC.  There are bags at the back of the Church for you to take away and return your donations.
Thank you.  Home Baking can be brought on Saturday 14th November, or on the day of the Fete itself.  This is always a good seller—the more donations we have, the more we sell!!

WORDS FROM POPE FRANCIS
“Vanity not only distances us from God:  it makes us look ridiculous.”
“Let us ask the help of St Michael the Archangel to defend us from the snares of the devil.”
“Parents, can you ‘waste time’ with your children?  It is one of the most important things that you can do each day.”
